With two weeks left until classes begin, the Pella Community School District will soon be releasing details about pick-up and drop off plans at buildings impacted by construction. New Pella Middle School Principal Scott Tjeerdsma is excited for the new connector project with Jefferson Intermediate — but construction of the new space has limited parking and drop-off options at both buildings. Tjeerdsma says parents will receive detailed instructions to help with traffic flow in the two areas. The main parking lot at Jefferson Intermediate will remain closed for some time during construction. Classes in Pella begin on August 23rd.
