The Knoxville chapter of Freedom for Youth is kicking off their grilled cheese fundraiser today.

The event will be from 10:00 am- 2:00 pm today and tomorrow at the Freedom for Youth building in Knoxville. In the building there will be a grilled cheese bar where you can choose your bread, cheese and fillings. The meal comes with a cookie, choice of salad, and water. Outside of the building will be a float bar where you can build your own float.

Freedom for Youth Program Coordinator Christy Meissner says this fundraiser is a way to help pay for kids to go to camp. 

“We were able to send 18 students to summer camp this year free of charge and we are doing fundraisers to help cover those costs.”

The Freedom for Youth building is at 107 S. 3rd St in Knoxville.
