The Indianola volleyball team begins their season Monday evening in a non-conference matchup on the road at Ankeny Centennial. The Indians are coming off of a class 4A state tournament quarterfinal appearance and leading class 4A in wins, and will face a gauntlet of a schedule to begin their 2023 season, including not only the matchups with the Jaguars but tournaments at Southeast Polk and Bondurant-Farrar before beginning a tough Little Hawkeye Conference. Head coach Kent Halstead said the tough schedule is to make sure the team is battle ready by the end of the season, and they will get into the mindset of not being able to take any games off. Action starts at 7:30pm.
