Six members of the inaugural Simpson College women’s gymnastics team were recognized by the Women’s Collegiate Gymnastics Association for their academic prowess during the 2022-23 year.

The WCGA honors all individuals who achieve a 3.5 overall grade point average or a 3.5 grade point average for the year. Doing so for the Storm was Kaley Bristow, Izzy Brown, Annika Cole, Olivia Short, Kaelyn Tally, and Baily Tessena.
