While seasonal conditions will be in place for most of this week, another heat wave is expected to begin over Labor Day Weekend. The National Weather Service expects well above-average temperatures in a good portion of September, starting at the end of this week and continuing for several days. High temperatures in the 90s will be common and heat index values are expected to approach and top 100 degrees. Little-to-no rainfall is anticipated during this time, and drought conditions are likely to worsen.
