Several agencies partnered for an arrest related to alleged drug distribution in Pella this week.
In August, the Des Moines Police Vice and Narcotics Control Selection along with the Mid-Iowa East Narcotics Enforcement Task Force, began an investigation into the distribution of methamphetamine by Matthew Blew at 408 East 15th St, Apt. #108 in Pella. This afternoon, Des Moines Police, in coordination with the Mid-Iowa East Narcotics Enforcement Task Force, Pella Police Department, and Marion County Sheriff’s Office, executed a search warrant at Blew’s residence Wednesday.
During the search, investigators recovered methamphetamine and cocaine consistent with drug distribution. Investigators also recovered fentanyl, marijuana, three handguns, and over $30,000. After consultation with the Marion County Attorney’s Office, Blew and a female associate, Camille Toomire, were both arrested for Possession with Intent to Deliver Methamphetamine and Cocaine, Possession of Fentanyl, and Possession of Marijuana.
Blew and Toomire were both transported to the Marion County Jail.
