The Indianola City Council meets in a regular and special session Tuesday due to the Labor Day Holiday. The board will first meet in a joint session with the Warren County Board of Supervisors regarding the county/municipal communications agreement. The joint session begins at 5:30pm in the boardroom of the Warren County Administration Building.
After the work session, the council will meet in regular session, where Mayor Stephanie Erickson will read a proclamation declaring September as Library Card Sign-up Month. The council will consider appointments to boards and commissions, a rezoning request for 1101 West 12th Avenue from agricultural to residential, and a major site plan application for an expansion to the automobile sales area for DeYarman Ford. The regular session begins at 7pm in the city council chambers at Indianola City Hall.
