Historian Kathy Wilson is giving a presentation called “We Shall Be Monsters” at the Knoxville Public Library on Tuesday.
The historical presentation is about how Mary Shelley and Frankenstein influenced modern society. The event will start at 1:30 pm. Knoxville Public Library Director Roslin Thompson mentioned that Wilson has been to the library before and this topic is fitting as we approach Halloween.
“This time she is going to talk about Mary Shelley, the author of Frankenstein. We just thought it was kind of appropriate this time as we approach Halloween.”
The Knoxville Public Library is located at 213 E Montgomery St. in Knoxville.
