The #2 Indianola volleyball team went 4-1 at the Southeast Polk Tournament on Saturday, suffering their first loss of the season and placing second overall. The Indians dominated the early stages, defeating Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont 2-0 (21-11, 21-4), Cedar Rapids Jefferson 2-0 (21-4, 21-8), #4 in class 5A Waukee Northwest 2-1 (25-20, 16-25, 15-9), and Southeast Polk W 2-0 (21-15, 21-12) to advance to the championship game. The Indians fell to #2 in class 5A Ankeny Centennial 2-0. The Indians improve to 16-1 on the season, and takes the week off before competing in a tournament at Waukee on Saturday.
