Marion County Public Health held their monthly providers meeting Monday morning.

This monthly meeting is an opportunity for different healthcare providers and community organizations to share updates on what is happening in their departments. There is also usually a presentation given at the meeting from one of Marion County’s local healthcare organizations. 

The providers meeting is a collaboration of groups that want to continue to seek the best possible care for Marion County.

Marion County Public Health Nurse Judi Van Hulzen mentioned that this meeting is a good way for people to know what’s available in the community.

“We’ve had folks from all over different community providers give some really great presentations and we go through each person and talk about what we do, what’s coming up, what’s available for the community for folks, and we kind of brainstorm together.”
