The Marion County Board of Supervisors approves a landfill gas license agreement at their meeting Tuesday.

This is an agreement between South Central Iowa Solid Waste Agency and SCI RNG, LLC for Marion County to be able to have access to landfill gas, which in the long term will save the county money on energy expenses. The board also approved the memorandum of understanding with Polk County for judicial mental health advocate services, and the Highway Safety Improvement Program funding agreement for G28 guardrail updates. 

The board approved the posting of an assistant zoning administrator position as well.
