The Indianola City Council meets in regular session Monday, which will involve the council discussing the South K Street Paving Project in a work session, and giving direction to city staff in the regular meeting.

The council gave direction to city staff to look for alternatives to the previous plan of a full curb, gutter, and sewer system in the area, and focus on paving the road to help with dust control at their previous meeting.

The council will also consider the second reading of a rezoning change at 1101 West 12th Avenue from agricultural to residential, the vacation of an alley on the 1000 block of East Salem Avenue, and a change order on the Hillcrest Avenue Reconstruction Project. The work session begins at 6pm in the city council chambers at Indianola City Hall.
