Pella Chrisitan’s Biology Two class hosted a Monarch Education and Tagging Program on Friday.

As part of the program, eight students presented information about the life cycle, anatomy and migration of monarch butterflies. Following the presentation, the students and attendees were able to catch and tag migrating monarchs. With just around four weeks to learn the material and present what they learn, Pella Christian biology teacher Audra Faber credited the students’ hard work outside the classroom for a successful presentation.

“They did their own research. They came up with all the creative ideas that you saw in the program. And they just put together a real engaging program that got everybody involved. I just have to say it was their creativity and their willingness to do some work outside of class time.”
