A Knoxville man was arrested Tuesday for making terroristic threats aimed at the Marion County Road Department.
On Tuesday, at 7:44 am the Knoxville Police Department was notified of a threat of terrorism to the road department. The threat was posted to Facebook by a man identified as Joshua James Isley of Knoxville. The Marion County Attorney’s Office, and FBI joined the Knoxville Police Department with the investigation into the threat. At 1:56 pm, Isley was arrested outside of his home and transported to the Marion County Jail where he was questioned, and then booked into the jail. A search warrant of Isley’s home was conducted minutes after his arrest.
Isley is charged with Threat of Terrorism which is a class D felony, and Harassment in the first degree, an aggravated misdemeanor.
