Candidates have filed their papers to run in the November 7th election for Indianola City Council and Indianola School Board.

Candidates for Indianola City Council include only one contested race in Ward 1:

Ward 3:
Steve Armstrong

At-Large:
Josh Rabe – incumbent

Candidates for Indianola School Board include:

Patty Alexander
Eric Christensen
Rob Keller – incumbent
Aaron Labertew
Ben Metzger – incumbent
Sue Wilson – incumbent

Four seats are open on the Indianola School Board, currently held by Ben Metzger, Sue Wilson, Rob Keller, and Donna Kreamer, who elected not to run again. All four seats are at-large, and the top four candidates receiving votes in the election will be declared the winners.
