Country Music star Jimmy Fortune is performing in Knoxville next Friday at the Performing Arts Center.
The concert will start at 7:00 and Fortune will be performing with special guests Lori King and Junction 63. Jimmy Fortune is a well-known country music artist and singer/songwriter. He is best known as a member of the legendary country group, The Statler Brothers. Lori King and Junction 63 is a talented regional band that is well known in the bluegrass music scene. Jimmy Fortune has been inducted into the country music hall of fame as a member of the Statler brothers. Fortune tells KNIA/KRLS radio that he enjoys coming to play in Knoxville.
“We’ve been out there a few times and played in Knoxville, Iowa and every time we come we just enjoy seeing the people. It’s the heart of America. I love getting to talk to everybody and shake hands after the show is over with. Getting to catch up a little bit and hear about what is going on in their lives, so we’re looking forward to coming out to Knoxville.”
