The Knoxville School Board approved a concrete proposal for Randy Wilson Track at their meeting Monday night.
The board accepted a bid from Finish Line Concrete for $74,789 for the project. This will include concrete work around the outside of Randy Wilson Track and around the new bathroom/concession stand building. Superintendent Cassi Pearson said she is excited for that work to get started shortly.
“We look forward to starting that work this fall so by the spring when we start track season the building should be completed along with some additional amenities.”
The proposal passed unanimously at the meeting.
