The Pleasantville volleyball team has beaten the school’s single season win record after sweeping at their home quad Thursday.
The Trojans defeated Grand View Christian in their first match of the night 2-0. They won in commanding fashion in the first set, defeating the Thunder 25-16 and won 25-22 in the second. Pleasantville then went on to defeat Panorama with ease 2-0. winning the first set 25-18 and the second set 25-11. The Trojans closed out their last match of the night beating Woodward-Granger 25-23 and 25-15. After the sweep, the Trojans have now hit 21 wins on the season, which beats the previous school record for wins in a season, which was broken last year with 20.
The Trojans improved to 21-7 on the season, and will be back in action Saturday at their home tournament.
