The City of Pella recently announced the hire of a new finance director. Brian Weuve is now serving in the role overseeing the city budget. He was raised in McCallsburg, Iowa, and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Public Administration from the University of Northern Iowa, as well as a Master of Public Administration degree from the University of Nebraska – Omaha. Brian has served in the local government profession for 23 years including holding positions as City Manager in Iowa Falls, Libson, and Park Rapids, MN. Brian recently relocated to Pella from Spencer, where he served as the Deputy City
Manager/Finance Director for the past 11 years.
