Coming off of competing against some of Iowa’s best teams at the Urbandale tournament this past weekend, another state championship contender awaits the Pella volleyball team for homecoming. The #2 in 4A Indianola girls are on their way to town to try and lock up the Little Hawkeye Conference regular season title and to spoil festivities at Pella High School. Pella Head Coach Sam Sheldon says the road team is a likely state tournament favorite and one of the teams to beat in Class 4A for the ultimate prize — and she’s excited to see if her team can rise to the occasion. Varsity action begins at 7:15 this evening at Pella High School.
