The Melcher-Dallas Community School District is planning to honor their local US Veterans in November. 

Melcher-Dallas will host their third annual Veterans Day Assembly this year in the elementary gym, and invite veterans from the community to join them. Their will be a slide show and time for veterans to share about their service and their connection to the school. The assembly is run by the students at Melcher-Dallas schools. Veterans planning to attend the event are asked to fill out a form, so they can be recognized. Veterans who are unable to attend the assembly are also encouraged to submit a form to be honored during the assembly. Participants are asked to meet in the library 15 minutes prior to the event.
