Lake View Camp in Tracy is hosting their Blazing the Trails 5K Trail Run/Walk and their Fall Camp Fun Day on Saturday.

The 5K trail run/walk will kick off the day’s festivities, and pre-registration is not required, but is encouraged. Cost for the 5K is $35, and will cover the Fall Camp Fun Day, which follows the run from 10 a.m to 4 p.m. Lake View Camp Administrative Assistant Gwyn Ferguson says that the Fall Camp Fun Day will have various activities for all ages.

“There is a charge of $5 per person, and that gets you into the campground and you get to do all the different camp activities that we have out here. That includes canoeing, fishing, hiking on the trails, we’ll have a couple different crafts, we’ll have the mini golf course out, we will do an obstacle course, we’re going to try to do a kid’s obstacle course as well this year, we’ll have a corn pool, we’ll do face painting, and then we’ll have our concession stand.”

The events at Lake View Camp in Tracy tomorrow begin with the Blazing the Trails 5K Trail Run/Walk at 9 a.m.
