The PCM volleyball team defeated Heart of Iowa Conference opponent South Hamilton on the road Thursday night 3-0.
PCM won the first set 25-19, and then came back and won the second set in commanding fashion 25-16. In the third set the Mustangs were able to hang onto the lead in their closest set of the night to defeat the Hawks 25-20, and win the match. Rebecca De Vries and Tori Lindsay each came away with nine kills on the night, Eliana Buswell had 23 assists, and Addison Steenhoek had 14 digs. Steenhoek and Lark Drake combined for seven aces during the match. After the win, the Mustangs improve to 16-12 overall on the season 2-4 in the conference.
PCM will be back in action next week for their last regular season match when they travel to Nevada.
