The Knoxville Public Library will be holding a DIY book bag class on Tuesday.

This is open to anyone, and gives community members an opportunity to make a fun bag that they can carry their books in going to and from the library and other places. The bags will be made out of recycled books and Knoxville Public Library Adult Services Librarian Heather Libby is asking for registration ahead of time.

“We supply all of the supplies. It’s free. We do recommend if you can call ahead or stop by the front desk so you can reserve a spot so we have enough spaces prepared for you. It does say it’s adult DIY and it is aimed for that but often we have middle schoolers or high schoolers come too and they have a great time.”

The event will be from 6:00-8:00 pm on Tuesday, October 10th.
