Pella Christian High School is holding a capital campaign to raise money for recent facility improvements and upgrades made around their campus.

Recently, Pella Christian renovated P.C. Stadium with new retaining walls on both sides of the field, new field turf, and a new track surface. They also upgraded the lighting, sound equipment, and audio/visual equipment in the Vermeer Auditorium. Pella Christian Head of Schools Dan Zylstra says that the improvements had become necessary and that they are hoping to raise funds to cover those projects.

“The depreciable life and some of those assets has run its course. So we looked at the things that we absolutely needed to do, and we went ahead and we did those and then we’re trying to replenish those cash reserves. So overall, in the next three years we’re looking to raise $1.5 million to cover those costs. ”
