PCM Activities Director Jeremy Swink was named the Central Region Middle School Athletic Director of the Year by the Iowa High School Athletic Directors Association on Thursday.

Swink was one of five AD’s across the state to receive the honor for 2024. Swink says that the recognition came as a surprise, but added that it wouldn’t have been possible without the communities’ support.

“I want to give a special shout out to our PCM community, our staff, our kids and our parents. They’re really the ones that help move things forward and help row the boat forward per se. They’re really a huge support system for me and for us and I don’t really think any of this would be possible and especially this recognition would be possible without the great support system that is in place here at PCM.”

Former Norwalk Athletic Director Al Lammers had been the most recent honoree from the KNIA/KRLS listening area, being recognized as the Central Region High School Athletic Director of the Year in 2021.
