Knoxville Parks are officially winterizing for the season at the end of this week. Cold weather has officially started to approach the Knoxville community and with the change of weather, also comes a change at local parks. All Knoxville park bathrooms and drinking fountains will be closed up until spring. Garbage cans at all parks will also be put away for the season. Knoxville will be welcoming an additional park this spring located in the new Veteran’s District that includes playground equipment and a splash pad.
