Four local high school students were selected as finalists for the Iowa State Dance/Drill Team Association Senior Scholarships on Wednesday. Kate Schneider of Knoxville, Rhya Cowden of Pleasantville, and Olivia Cunningham and Stella Stelpflug of Pella are four of the 17 finalists that were selected from the 80 applicants for the scholarships. The winners will be announced November 29th, 30th and December 1st at the State Championships held at Wells Fargo Arena and Hy-Vee Hall in Des Moines.
