The PCM football team will host the Iowa Falls-Alden Cadets tonight for senior night in their regular season finale.

The Mustangs are now 5-2 on the season and 4-0 in the district after a commanding 49-20 victory over West Marshall last Friday. Adrien Robbins stole the show against the Trojans, rushing for a school record 409 yards to continue the dominance of the PCM run game. The Mustang offensive line continues to impress, blowing up huge holes for Adrien and company. Quarterback Gavin Van Gorp continues to find his rhythm as he now has 817 passing yards on the season, nine touchdowns through the air, and seven rushing touchdowns.

The Mustangs are now looking to close out the regular season with a perfect district record as they take on the 2-5 Cadets who are coming off a 32-8 loss to Jesup last Friday. Iowa Falls-Alden has seen strong offensive production from senior dual-threat quarterback Jaden Damiano, who has thrown for 827 yards on the season and rushed for 844 with 14 total touchdowns through the air and on the ground. Damiano is fifth in class 2A for all-purpose yards and PCM Head Coach Greg Bonnett talked about the challenge he will present.

“Iowa Falls-Alden has some dudes out there. Especially that number 15 kid, their quarterback. He’s really fast and I think he’s going to present a good challenge for us from a defensive perspective and offensive for that matter. Particularly from a defensive perspective it will really give us something to train against because he’s a top notch speed guy in the state of Iowa.”

Tonight’s game against Iowa Falls-Alden starts at 7:30 pm and can be heard live on the KRLS3 stream at KNIAKRLS.com.
