The City of Indianola and Indianola Parks and Rec have begun the process of closing restrooms and winterizing water lines throughout the city park system.

Electricity and water will be shut off at park shelters, restrooms will be closed and the water fountains at both Buxton Park and the Dog Park will soon be turned off and winterized. The campground at Pickard Park has closed for the season.

As a reminder, Indianola’s city parks are open for year-round enjoyment, with only restrooms and electricity at the shelters available from mid-April through mid-October each year.
