After beating Ogden 43-0 in their Class 1A playoff opener, the Pella Christian football team will return to Grundy Center for the second round postseason game.

This Friday’s contest will be just the second ever meeting between the schools, with the first meeting taking place earlier this season in week three. The Spartans handed the Eagles their first loss of the fall in a 38-6 decision back on September 8th. Since that contest, Pella Christian posted a 5-1 record, while Grundy Center went on to finish the season unbeaten at 9-0. The winner of Friday’s game between the Eagles and Spartans will advance to the quarterfinals to take on the winner of Sigourney Keota and Dike-New Hartford.
