Pleasantville freshman quarterback Braylon Bingham currently leads Class 1A in passing yards per completion for the 2023 season. 

Bingham took over for Ryder Thill at quarterback early in the season, with Thill moving to wide receiver. The freshman comfortably stepped into the role and helped lead the Trojans to three wins to close out the regular season and secure a playoff spot as the third place team in Class 1A District 6. Bingham averaged 20.4 yards per completion, which is almost three more yards per completion more than the next player on the leaderboard. In total, Bingham threw for 1,080 yards and nine touchdowns on the season. 

Pleasantville ended their season last Friday, falling on the road at West Branch in the first round of the Class 1A playoffs.
