The Pella Christian football team is hoping to rewrite the script as they prepare for a rematch at Grundy Center Friday night.
The Eagles struggled to get any momentum on either side of the ball in their week three matchup against the Spartans, falling 38-6. Pella Christian head coach Rich Kacmarynski said that Grundy Center controlled the trenches in that contest and knows his team has a difficult challenge ahead of them.
“Honestly they played really well. I would say they kind of dominated on both sides of the line of scrimmage. We really struggled to get anything going offensively, we had a drive late and got a score in the third or fourth quarter, I can’t remember exactly when, but they played really well there and they’re a nice football team, so we definitely got our work cut out for us this week.”
Pella Christian’s second round playoff game at Grundy Center Friday night can be heard live on 92.1 KRLS, beginning with pregame coverage at 6:30.
