Drought conditions continued to remain unchanged throughout Marion and Warren Counties in the latest weekly update. According to the U.S. Drought Monitor, 100% of Warren County and just over 75% of Marion County are still in severe drought conditions. The northeastern corner of Marion County is continuing to face moderate drought conditions. Rainfall that has accumulated over the last few days missed the Tuesday cutoff and will be included in the next report. According to the National Weather Service, chances for rain and a mix of snow are in the forecast this weekend, before sunny and cooler weather returns on Monday.
