Pleasantville junior Kurt Kuhnen wrapped up an impressive 2023 cross country season at the state cross country meet in Fort Dodge over the weekend.

Kuhnen was the lone state qualifier for Pleasantville this year after a memorable 2023 campaign. Kuhnen finished 72nd in the state meet with a time of 17:59.1 to wrap up the year. Kuhnen was consistently a top ten finisher for the Trojans all season long and broke the school record at the Pleasantville cross country course earlier in the season.
