Marion County Public Health is providing free vaccines for children who qualify for the Vaccines for Children (VFC) program. The VFC program provides free vaccines to children who qualify, and according to the CDC, about half of American children less than 19 years old receive VFC vaccines. Children are eligible before their 19th birthday, if they qualify for Medicaid, don’t have insurance, or are American Indian or Alaska native.
