Marion County Public Health is providing free vaccines for children who qualify for the Vaccines for Children (VFC) program. The VFC program provides free vaccines to children who qualify, and according to the CDC, about half of American children less than 19 years old receive VFC vaccines. Children are eligible before their 19th birthday, if they qualify for Medicaid, don’t have insurance, or are American Indian or Alaska native. If your child qualifies for a VFC vaccine, call Marion County Public Health at 641-828-2238 to schedule an appointment.
