The Simpson women’s soccer team has qualified to the NCAA tournament for just the second time in program history. The Storm are 15-2-2 on the season, and were American Rivers Conference Runners-Up in both the regular season and tournament, falling to Loras in the ARC Tournament Championship Game in penalty kicks.

Head coach Jeremy Reinert tells KNIA News they know they are one of the best teams in the country, but every team at this point also has a great resume, so they will have to go out and play the way they know they can in order to win. He also said they won’t be outworked by any team they face in the tournament, regardless of the result.

The Storm take on St. Catherine from Minnesota on Friday at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse.
