The 2024 Tulip Queen’s Announcement Party will include 12 local high school seniors trying to become ambassadors for the Pella Community. Carol Williamson with the Tulip Time Steering Committee says the group of five ultimately chosen not only serve to promote the upcoming Tulip Time celebration in early May, but also receive specialized training to bolster their own skills heading into adulthood. On Saturday, the girls will meet with judges for interviews and put together a three minute presentation on stage to showcase why they would best be in front of potential visitors for nearly 40 public appearances next spring.
