An Otley Man was arrested earlier this week on two felony drug charges.

At around 9:30 am on Monday, November 6th, members of the Marion County Sheriff’s Office and the Mid-Iowa Narcotics Enforcement Task Force conducted a narcotics search warrant at 300 Baldwin Street in Otley. A search of the residence led law enforcement to allegedly seize 122 grams of methamphetamine, 34 grams of marijuana, packaging material for distributing illegal narcotics, a functioning digital scale, and money. After being taken into custody, 65-year-old Russell Lowman allegedly told law enforcement that everything in the residence was his.

Lowman is charged with two Class D felonies for failure to affix a drug stamp and a controlled substance violation, a Class B felony for a controlled substance violation, and a simple misdemeanor for possession of drug paraphernalia.
