While the senior class for the Knoxville Football Squad will be tough to replace but there will be a lot of competition for starting and playing time. A lot of underclassmen got several games of playing time due to a rash of injuries that bit the Panthers late in the season. Coach Matt Dunkin tells KNIA/KRLS Sports that may make it a little easier to decide who goes where when August rolls around.
Dunkin: “Unfortunately with those injuries, we had some guys and underclassmen step up and some of them just had other guys in front of them, but it was good to see those guys get in and let us see what they could do.”
Knoxville went 2-7 this season. Hear a full interview with Dunkin on Saturday’s Hy-Vee Radio Coaches Corner at 9:00 on KNIA/KRLS.
