A Knoxville woman was arrested last week, and faces 28 felony and misdemeanor charges of theft and lottery forgery. 

According to court records, the former general manager of the Knoxville 66 gas station Lacey Reynolds is accused of committing several thefts from the convenience store from August 13th to October 11th of this year. Reynolds allegedly was stealing lottery tickets from her employer, hiding them, and then scanning the tickets to check for winnings. Reynolds is also accused of placing just over $2,500 into two deposit bags from a game in the store, placing the deposit bags in her purse, and never depositing the money into the store’s bank account. 

Reynolds faces a Class B Felony of Ongoing Criminal Conduct, 11 Class D Felonies for lottery forgery, a Class D felony for theft second degree relating to the alleged theft of deposit bags of cash, and the 15 misdemeanor charges of fifth degree theft. 

Reynolds was arrested and transported to the Marion County Jail, where she eventually posted a $20,000 bond. Reynolds is due in court on November 16th for her preliminary hearing.
