Led by senior Noelle Sutcliffe’s 10 school records, the Norwalk volleyball team established a long list of top 10 performances this fall on the program’s career and single-season charts.

Sutcliffe set career school records with 1,224 kills, 3.11 kills per set, 3,410 total attacks, 1,329 total serves and 393 sets played. Her single-season records from 2023 include 435 kills, 4.10 kills per set and 1,130 total attacks. She previously broke single-season marks in 2021 with 408 total serves and 388 successful serves. Among other career accomplishments at Norwalk, Sutcliffe ranks second in successful serves with 1,235, third in digs (1,140), third in aces (160) and ninth in total blocks (113).

Senior Ava Johnson finished her career with the following top 10 rankings: fourth in total blocks (157) and block assists (133), fifth in serve efficiency (.953), sixth in total serves (869), sixth in set played (335), and eighth in total kills (473), attacks (1,285) and successful serves (828). Among single-season ranks, Johnson’s .977 serve efficiency from 2021 ranks fourth in school history and this year’s .292 kill efficiency ranks 10th.

Senior Grace Dehmer finished her Warrior career ranking second in total digs (1,209) and digs per set (3.64), sixth in serve efficiency (.952) and seventh in sets played (332). Her 452 digs this year ties her for third in program history in a single season.

Senior Ava McKay’s 1,209 career attacks, meanwhile, ranks her ninth in school history.

In the assist department, junior Liz Iverson and freshman Hadley Michael currently rank one-two in career assists per set with 7.35 and 7.14, respectively. In terms of total assists, Iverson ranks second with 1,132 and Hadley is 10th with 478, which is also the sixth-best single-season total. Iverson also ranks second with a career serving percentage of .977.

Junior Emmory Toppenberg ranks eighth in career blocks per set with 0.59.

The Warriors finished 26-15 overall this season and made their first-ever trip to the State Volleyball Tournament.
