Weiler has appointed Megan Weiler Green as Chief Financial Officer, and General Counsel for the Knoxville-based manufacturer.
Green joined Weiler in August of 2017 as in-house counsel and procurement manager. Early in her time with Weiler, Green led the company through the acquisition of Caterpillar’s purpose-built forestry division. In 2019, she took on the role of engineering manager, where she is responsible for managing the engineering, service, product safety and technical publication departments. In this role, Green plans, organizes and directs the company’s engineering activities to meet customer expectations for design, new product development, and improvement of existing product lines.
In addition to her new role as CFO, Green will continue to serve as in-house counsel for both Weiler and Weiler Forestry (based out of LaGrange, GA) and engineering manager while also contributing to strategic planning and organization as a member of the senior management team. Green also remains the President of the Weiler Foundation for charitable giving.
Green is the daughter of Pat Weiler, owner and founder of Weiler, and is one of three members of the second generation of the Weiler family to return to Central Iowa to join the business. Green graduated from Iowa State University with a finance degree and received her Juris Doctor degree from the University of Iowa College of Law. Prior to joining Weiler, Megan worked for State Farm as in-house counsel for 9 years where she practiced law in the areas of litigation, legislative/regulatory and banking.
