The Knoxville Cancer Relay (KCR) is offering a gift wrapping service on Saturday to try and reach their $50,000 fundraising goal. 

The service, held on Small Business Saturday, will take place from 10 am-2:00 pm at KNX Fitness. The KCR will be accepting free will donations when you stop in to get your gifts wrapped ahead of the holiday season. The Knoxville Cancer Relay, which took place September 14-16th of this year. is one of the largest cancer fundraisers in the state. Earlier this year, a team ran across the state of Iowa to try and reach their fundraising goal for the American Cancer Society. The KCR is just $5,000 shy of reaching their 2023 goal and KCR runner April DeRaad encourages the community to continue supporting this cause.

“There are a lot of people that don’t think their amount or their contributions make that big of a difference but we are this close to our goal because of everybody. Every little bit and every event.”
