The PCM boys basketball team brings back their two leading scorers from last season in Jacob Wendt and Gavin Van Gorp.

The Mustangs will look different this year after the departure of long time head coach Fred Lorenson, but new head coach Tony Ford will look to keep the strong tradition of the program going. PCM will look to improve upon a tough 8-15 season a year ago with the return of l Wendt and Van Gorp. Wendt finished last season with 316 points and 232 rebounds, and Van Gorp had 276 points and 53 rebounds. With both key players back this year, PCM Coach Tony Ford is excited to see what his team can do this year.

“I think they’re going to see the boys running up and down the floor and playing their tails off. I think defensively they are going to be very fun to watch. I think they are going to do some things more aggressive this year, take some more chances, and play really well together.”

PCM opens their season on Tuesday at Knoxville.
