The makeup of the Twin Cedars Boys Basketball Squad is pretty simple. Holden Roberts is the go to guy, but Roberts will have a supporting cast ready to stop in and up when called upon. Coach Mateo Varese tells KNIA/KRLS Sports players like Kaden Kloster, Jaden Kennedy, a transfer from Norwalk, and Dallas Smith are ready to play their roles.

Varese: “Kaden Kloster is not going to light it up but has worked hard and got stronger in the offseason. Jaden Kennedy, like I said a transfer from Norwalk, has a lot of size and I haven’t seen anyone who can score since Holdent so he’ll be a nice addition, and Dallas Smith last year was his first year since seventh grade to play and he’s improved over the summer.”

One player that the Sabers are waiting on to recover from an injury is Gavin Clark, who was 2nd on the team in rebounding with 120 last season. Varese hopes he is ready to go soon. Twin Cedars starts the season at Wayne on Tuesday.
