The next quarterly Marion County CONNECT Economic Development Meeting is scheduled to take place on Friday, December 15th.
The meeting for this quarter will focus on resources for small businesses. Marion County Development Commission Executive Director Carla Eysink says that the quarterly CONNECT meetings are a great way to make connections and help small business owners.
“Many of these resources can really change a business. They can help them strategize and define who they are, be more productive, be more profitable, look at their business perhaps in a different way, and have access to resources, as well as the people in the room. One of the things we really tried to do is in person meetings, so that people can talk to other business owners, they can talk to other resource providers, banks, and other folks that help businesses. It’s just truly like the name says, a way for people interested in economic development to connect, so we can all get better at what we’re doing.”
Small business owners and those who provide services to businesses are encouraged to attend the Marion County CONNECT Economic Development Meeting at 9am on December 15th at 3014 East Main Street in Knoxville.
