The Pleasantville girls and boys wrestling team will both compete today.

The girls team will travel to Newton to compete in the Cardinal Classic with 12 total teams. Pleasantville senior Madilyn Rowson is coming off a second place finish at the Belle Plaine Invitational last Saturday. This will be the third competition of the season for the Trojan girls. 

The Pleasantville boys will compete at the Coach Riley Invitational at Nodaway Valley along with 13 other teams. The Trojan boys are coming off a 3-0 sweep at a quad hosted by Martensdale St. Marys on Thursday night. Five of the Pleasantville wrestlers went undefeated at the quad. Today’s girls meet starts at 9:00 am and the boys meet starts at 10:00 am.
