The Melcher-Dallas Basketball Squads will have a busy week starting Monday with a trip to Moravia. That game was supposed to be this past Friday, but was moved to Monday due to no officials being available on Friday. So the Saints will have to play at Moravia Monday, return to host Murray at Southeast Warren on Tuesday, and then travel to Moulton-Udell on Friday and Meskwaki Settlement on Saturday. Girls Coach Kelsey Goff looks at this week as an opportunity to win four games and get a jump on the early season Bluegrass Conference race.

Goff: “We would like to come out 4-0 next week. Murray is always tough no matter if its there or on our home court. Moravia we won down there and I think we can handle them, and then Moulton and Meskwaki end the week with a good chance to score points and get a win.”

The Saints are 2-1 heading into this week while the boys are 0-2.
