The Pella High School Robotics team recovered from early systems and electronics issues at Saturday’s league meet in Norwalk.

The driver hub computer and battery connections led to three straight losses during the morning qualification matches. However, an extended lunch break gave the Bionic Dutch a chance they needed to make critical repairs to their competition robot, according to coach Brent Ewell.

The Dutch scored an average of 115 points with their alliance partners to sweep the afternoon qualification matches to finish the tournament with a 3-3 record.
